I will try and see to it that the music is available a.s.a.p.

One Day the Trumpet Will Shout
__________________________________________
The time...,
Will come upon us on that faithful day.
To the clouds...,
Up from this world we will be swept away.
And then ohhhhh...,
One day the trumpet will shout,
And all Christ’s people come out,
That’s what God’s loves all about.
And all Christ’s people come out,
That’s what God’s loves all about.
And then...,
His Son will gather away,
All of the faithful that day,
Because they trusted He who lit their way.

His Son will gather away,
All of the faithful that day,
Because they trusted He who lit their way.

I don’t know...,
The season that He’ll use to work His plan.
Or just when...,
It is to be His wrath poured out on man.
But ohhhhh...,
One day the trumpet will shout,
And all Christ’s people come out,
That’s what God’s loves all about.
And all Christ’s people come out,
That’s what God’s loves all about.
And then...,
His Son will gather away,
All of the faithful that day,
Because they trusted He who lit their way.

His Son will gather away,
All of the faithful that day,
Because they trusted He who lit their way.

The world...,
Will not escape what evil’s brought to bare.
It’s condemned...,
And with the devil it will sorely share.
But ohhhhh...,
One day the trumpet will shout,
And all Christ’s people come out,
That’s what God’s loves all about.
And all Christ’s people come out,
That’s what God’s loves all about.
And then...,
His Son will gather away,
All of the faithful that day,
Because they trusted He who lit their way.

His Son will gather away,
All of the faithful that day,
Because they trusted He who lit their way.
_______________________________________
It’s not mine...,
To know the seasons set for things to come.
Or just when...,
The time’s been set by the Almighty One.
But ohhhhh...,
One day the trumpet will shout,
And all Christ’s people come out,
That’s what God’s loves all about.
And all Christ’s people come out,
That’s what God’s loves all about.
And then...,
His Son will gather away,
All of the faithful that day,
Because they trusted He who lit their way.
His Son will gather away,
All of the faithful that day,
Because they trusted He who lit their way.

Wow, when I read through these lyrics without the song ringing in my head...they sure are dull. Oh well.
Well, when I read them with the tune in my mind, they were downright exciting. Looking forward to hearing your tune for it!
o.k, well thanks Jeff.
Dear Todd,
It's wonderful to read and see that there are still those who are excited about our going up to be with Christ, and are joyfully singing about it. Your heart is overflowing with a great theme.
Joseph,
It's an exciting part of the Master plan isn't it? I had come up with this sort of up-tempo (way uptempo) piano piece last winter and it wasn't long before the chorus just sort of followed.
Finally, I've reached the stage in my piano playing/Bible studying where I can start to prepare to get some stuff recorded to share with others. So that's what I'll be working on this winter. It's not really fair to post a song with no music! But be patient, and thanks for stopping by. A guy like me needs good sound Bible teaching from a guy like you so I appreciate seeing your posts and comments in and around this weblog environment. And your day-job in the missionary field has to be daunting, way to run the good race knowing, as you had posted, that we graciously have already been given the victory (that was a great post). Heartily with you in Christ Joseph!
Wow...where have I been?
You have a bunch of good stuff here.
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee"
Nice song
Hey, thanks Brian. A lot of practicing and studying going on at my house right now, not alot of blogging as you can see. But others blogs have been a rich source of edification for me, that's for sure. Glad you stopped over!
Thanks and glad you stopped by.
Take your time...study.
That's good advice.
It's beautiful, Todd :)
:)
Jodie,
I appreciate that. I like to think it's a Trib-neutral rapture song. I don't care when the Voice like a trumpet sounds for us to go, just that one day it will.
